Techincal description of the Epic Office Chair:

The Epic ergonomic office chair offers absolute comfort thanks to its ergonomic shapes and contributes to high productivity.

Office chair available in two different heights. With high back for executive functions, and with low back for conferences, meetings and operative use.

Standard equipment: multiblock mechanism, very durable mesh made out of polyester - 30% and elastomerized nylon - 70%, seat/backrest frame reinforced with 30% glass fibers, durability tested according to ANSI BIFMA, two available frame colours: black or white polypropylene elements, possibility of adjusting the oscillation tension, polypropylene pyramidal base and rubberized castors.

Weight capacity: 130 kg.

Standard: Multiblock mechanism

The multiblock mechanism is an improved and better performing version than the butterfly mechanism and compared to it, offers the user the possibility to rock and to lock the seat in multiple positions. The multiblock mechanism offers freedom of movement, adjustability and a correct ergonomic posture. Comfort and performance are particularly closely related. 

The multiblock mechanism with two levers offers the user the following adjustment possibilities:

  1. seat height adjustment
  2. seat locking in advanced positions
  3. oscillation tension adjustment 

Fixed polypropilene armrest

The Epic chair has a fixed, polypropylene armrest which is integrated in the frame of the chair. chair. This integration gives the chair structural toughness and iconic curves

Ergonomically shaped backrest

Due to its S shape, the backrest follows the natural shape of the spine, providing the necessary support for a correct posture

 

Available mesh colours

The chair in entierly upholstered with a very durable mesh fabric, made out of polyester - 30% and elastomerized nylon - 70%, which allows the skin to breath even on the hottest days.According to personal preference, the user can chose from 6 available mesh colours: black, red, blue, green, grey and white

 

Standard: Polypropylene star base

White or black polypropylene base which is durable and easy to maintain, with a 700 mm diameter 

 

Large diameter castors

Soft castors with a diameter of 65/60mm reduce rolling resistance and are ideal for hard or carpeted floors as well

Epic Conference Chair

For a uniform and elegant appearence, we recommend incorporating the Epic conference chair together with it's executive version in your office space. The chair has the same key features as the executive version, with a few chancges: it has a medium height backrest, a simple mechanism which only allows height adjustability and rotation, a fixed, cross base which has four arms and polypropylene floor protectors and it's weight capacity is 130 kg.
